We've also been spending some time outdoors in the warm weather. She wasn't super excited about sitting in the grass. See that leg up in the air? She held it like that for a while. Sort of like a "eeeww - I don't know if I like how this feels on my legs" look. She eventually settled in and got more comfortable. Look at those toes curled over!

In case you didn't know...
pots and pans plus a nine month old equals a party! I got really tired of the "let's crawl to the magazine basket and pull out all of the magazines" yesterday, so I went for something tried and true. It kept her entertained for quite a while - I even got to bake some muffins!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. I am really excited about spending my first real Mother's Day with Carson and Tim. Motherhood has been the most rewarding and toughest job ever, and I still can't believe I'm this lucky to share in this beautiful, precious life. Love you Princess Peanut!

Sunday lunch at Grandma's
We headed to my mom and dad's for Sunday afternoon to celebrate Mother's Day a little early. After I had whipped out my camera for the fourth or fifth time, my Grandma Nancy said, "She's going to be the most photographed baby of all time!" So my secret's out I guess - but I promise that I did take some pictures of other folks sans Baby Girl!

Look Who's Crawling...
She's officially on the move! And quite proud of herself, too! She just started this a day or so ago, so she's not quite doing laps around the sofa, but it won't be long, believe me. Guess I'll have to start shopping for some baby gates. She's already developed a new pastime - paper shredder. She loves to crawl to the magazine basket and start tearing pages. Finally, a good use for all those catalogs! So, tomorrow she has a lunch date with her boyfriend, Tyler. I'll be sure to take some pics to share. Check back!

Happy Friday
Its been an interesting few days at the Story house. We've gone about our usual routine, but our little one is acting, er, a little wacky! For one, she has perfected the loudest, shrillest scream - and she does it when she's really excited. As I'm typing this, she's squealing at the vacuum cleaner( which she used to detest) and at our dog(which she has always adored). Maybe she's wishing both of them a hearty TGIF? I took her this week to a little group at the library, and she was squealing there too (yes, at the library!). All the other babies were pretty quiet. A little clapping, a little bouncing. But every time a new puppet came out, Carson squealed and talked to it. Maybe I'll post a video of her "talking" soon! Still no tooth yet - maybe when it appears she'll go back to sleeping again? She's also really started rejecting some of the baby food. No more rice cereal or oatmeal. She much prefers bagels with cream cheese! Here are a few pics. These are actually from the past week or two. I promise I'll get my camera out this weekend for some updated photos! Have a great weekend everyone!
